Your Golden Gate picture sure as hell beats the shit out of mine. Of course, I didn't actually have a chance to stop on the bridge itself. I got my pictures from a park at the end of the bridge.

my friend actually wanted to drive on the bridge, but i just thought it'd be best if we walked on it so i could get good shots. i took quite a few photos, but this one is my favorite and the best out of all of them.

Originally, we were going to rent some bikes & ride across the whole thing. I was raining out the day that we planned on doing that so that never happened. Instead we just made the bridge a short pit stop along the way to something else. I think I might finally get around to posting my vacation pics as well.

yea i wish we had rented bikes, but i'm still kind of too scared to go on one, especially on a big bridge.

Ya I guess that cold cause at least a little acrophobia in most people. BTW, I never did get the full story of what happened to you. I have managed to accumulate that you fell of a bike, & that's about it. Were you hit by a car or something?

i was riding my friend's bike to her house because it wouldn't fit in my car, and we didn't really know what else to do. so i was like, hey, i'll ride the bike, i don't care. but the bike was really shitty and old, and it was really high up, but there was no way to adjust anything. also, i'm really short so i couldn't even touch the ground with my feet. i was doing fine for about a mile, but as i was approaching her block, i hit a curb, the tires skidded, and i fell over the handlebars of the bike. that gave me the bruise on my stomach (and my stomach is still swollen to this day).
then my right upper thigh got cut by something; i don't really know what it was, but it left a huge gash. my friends were following me to her house in my car to keep an eye on me, but they got ahead of me, and didn't see what happened. i was laying on the ground for a while and reached for my phone to call them up. they came over, and we drove to her house so i could get some water. but i was so worried that i could possibly have internal bleeding, and i thought i would need stitches in my leg, so they took me to the hospital (and this is all happening at like 1 in the morning). i got staples put in and a cat scan. so i stayed in the hospital for like 24 hours, and they drove me in an ambulance truck to go to another hospital and i couldn't eat at all, i was hooked up to IVs all day, and it was incredibly boring.

Yes, Remember you being a bit shorter than me. I bet being vertically challenged can be very difficult & challenging at times. lol, I just wanted to say vertically challenged. So this was all over two months ago? Are you concerned at all that you still have swelling? I would be concerned that they over looked something.

i think it just takes time for it to heal. my stomach is still kind of hard when you press down on it, but it's not as bad as it was before. i don't think they could've overlooked something otherwise i think i'd be in a lot more pain. i feel fine.

and yes, it's difficult to be short. that's why i have to wear heels at every opportunity i get. it sucks even more when i'm at concerts; i get crushed by everyone.
